KH Lee: What’s In The Bag

KH Lee Bag

KH Lee successfully retained his title when winning the AT&T Byron Nelson for the second time in May 2022. A look at KH Lee: What’s In The Bag.

Lee Kyoung-hoon, to give him his full name, became the first back-to-back winner of the event in 42 years as he followed up his 2021 victory with a one shot success at TPC Craig Ranch in 2022.

A nine-under par final round saw Lee come from off the pace to finish on 26-under for the week, his lowest ever score. It was enough to hold off Jordan Spieth by a shot at the AT&T Byron Nelson.

It was the sixth professional win of Lee’s career and his second on the PGA Tour, both coming at the Byron Nelson.

Lee has also won on the Japan Golf Tour in the 2012 Nagashima Shigeo Invitational Sega Sammy Cup and the 2015 Honma TourWorld Cup, and on the co-sanctioned Kolon Korea Open in 2015 and 2016 on the OneAsia Tour and Korean Tour.

The Byron Nelson victory lifted Lee up to 41st in the Official World Golf Rankings from 88th the previous week.
