Callaway Epic Max Driver Review
The Epic Max looks more evolutionary than revolutionary when compared to the Epic Flash.
It features Callaway’s Jailbreak Technology, as detailed on the sole, and the design element suggests that the bars behind the face may well has been strengthened in the Max with four connection points.
The Artificial Intelligence Speed Frame is present to promote the ball speeds that the Jailbreak Technology has become renowned for.
There is a sliding weight for adjustability, much like there was in the Epic Flash, but the sole does feature more of the look of the Callaway Mavrik driver and the cyclone shaping.
The Max driver features an additional design feature from previous models with a carbon element on the toe of the sole. It is likely this is a weight saving.
Callaway Epic Max LS Driver Review
The Max LS is the second option in the range, and gets its name from the expected Low Spin promise of this model.
From the images, there is very little difference between the Max and the Max LS from a design perspective.
What does look the case is that the Max LS has a slightly smaller clubhead. The sliding weight is also smaller in the LS.
