Linn Grant: What’s In The Bag
What is in Linn Grant's bag?
Linn Grant made it six wins this year when sealing a dramatic victory in the Skafto Open. A look at Linn Grant: What’s In The Bag.
In June, Grant created history with victory in the Scandinavian Mixed with victory on home soil at Halmstad Golf Club.
She shot a final round of eight-under par to finish 24-under, nine shots clear of tournament host Henrik Stenson and Marc Warren. It was the first time a female golfer had won a DP World Tour event.
Her latest win also came on home turf in Sweden as Grant birdied the final two holes of the Skafto Open to finish on 11-under par and beat Lisa Pettersson by a shot with another Swede Maja Stark third.
The win moved Grant up 10 places in the Women’s World Golf Rankings to 45th.
Grant showcased her future as a big talent of the game when winning twice on the Sunshine Tour in February in the Dimension Data Ladies Challenge and Jabra Ladies Classic. She also made her first full start as a Ladies European Tour member a winning one too in the Joburg Ladies Open in March.
The Ping staff golfer then added the Belgian Ladies Open title to her name in May as she finished on 15-under par at Naxhelet Golf Club, one shot clear of Cara Gainer.
Grant first shot to prominence at the 2017 Ping Junior Solheim Cup. She finished runner-up as an invite in the Didriksons Skafto Open and Creekhouse Ladies Open in 2021 before earning her LET card at Q-School in December.
