Ludvig Aberg: What’s In The Bag

Ludvig Aberg What's In The Bag

Ludvig Aberg secured his second PGA Tour victory when lifting the title at the Genesis Invitational in February 2025. A look at Ludvig Aberg: What’s In The Bag.

Aberg switched driver before the final round at Torrey Pines and it paid dividends as he secured a come-from-behind victory in the Genesis Invitational.

The Swede shot a final round of six-under par to finish on 12–under par for the week, one shot clear of Maverick McNealy.

Former world number one amateur Aberg turned professional in June 2023 but was a winner by August when recording a two-shot victory in the Omega European Masters in Switzerland.

The Swede added a second professional victory to his CV – and his first PGA Tour title – when finishing on 29-under at Sea Island to win the RSM Classic by four shots from Mackenzie Hughes.

Aberg also made his Ryder Cup debut in September 2023 when named in the European Team that defeated the United States in Rome.

Aberg had a glittering collegiate career in the United States, including winning the Ben Hogan Award in 2022 and 2023. He is just the second player to do so after Jon Rahm.

His tournament victories included the Sun Bowl All-America Classic in 2019, Jones Cup Invitational, The Prestige and Thunderbird Collegiate in 2021 and The Prestige and Big 12 Men’s Championship in 2022.

In 2023 before turning professional, Aberg defended The Prestige and Big 12 Men’s Championship titles and also won the Valspar Collegiate and NCAA Norman Regional.

Aberg has signed an official equipment deal with Titleist and an apparel contract with Adidas.
