Malbon Tour M Golf Balls Review (NEW Launch For 2024)

Malbon Tour M Golf Balls Review

Malbon Tour M golf balls have been launched as a new premium option for 2024. Have the clothing company come up with a winner?

Known as a unique apparel manufacturer with partnership deals with the likes of Charley Hull, Jesper Parnevik and most recently Jason Day, Malbon have now made a first foray into the golf ball sector.

After an extensive development phase spanning 18 months, the Tour M has been launched with a Tour M designed to provide tour-level performance in every aspect.

It comes in four variations – the Dancing Buckets, Martian Buckets, Tiger Buckets or Wiz Buckets, but is the Tour M actually any good considering the premium price range it is sold at? We took a look.

Malbon Tour M Golf Balls Design & Features

The Tour M is designed to a well-balanced ball that provides a solid combination of distance and feel and enters the market as an alternative to premium balls like the Pro V1, TP5 or Chrome Tour.

After 18 months of meticulous engineering behind the ball, Malbon have come up with a product ensures that it delivers a soft feel, impressive distance off the tee and responsive control around the greens.

The design of the Malbon Tour M ball is a 3-piece urethane makeup. It features an elastic rubber core which is the mid-to-high compression of tour-level golf balls and suits golfers with driver swing speeds above 95mph.

The rubber mantle layer of the ball is designed to provide optimal spin rates, offering consistent ball flights and greater accuracy from tee to green.

The urethane cover of the Tour M is soft and designed engineered to produce more spin and better control around the greens with approach play.

The balls are available in white only but come in four options of logos on them: Dancing Buckets, Martian Buckets, Tiger Buckets, or Wiz Buckets.

Malbon Tour M Golf Balls Review: Are they any good?

Malbon have entered the market at a high level with the launch of the Tour M, which is a premium option rather than a more mass-market model.

It sits in a crowded market place, but offers plenty of performance benefits with good distance, a nice soft feel for your short game and a stable flight that helps eliminate excessive spin levels from the tee.

The soft feel, coupled with distance off the tee and spin levels and control, makes it a versatile choice – although it doesn’t suit golfers with slower than average swing speeds.

A couple of off-putting elements are the novelty logos on the balls, which won’t be for everyone, while the price is quite eye-watering being on a par with Pro V1s.
