Callaway Chrome Tour balls have been revealed as one of two new balls for 2024. Where does the four-piece ball sit in the hierarchy of options?

The Chrome Soft ball has been one of Callaway’s best sellers and their tour-level performer trusted by the likes of Jon Rahm and Phil Mickelson.

The three-piece soft construction ball still remains but is now joined by the four-piece medium compression Chrome Tour and the medium-firm Chrome Tour X, which replaces the Chrome Soft X.

Callaway Chrome Tour Balls Design & Features

The Chrome Tour and Chrome Tour X have been introduced as more firm options to sit alongside the current Chrome Soft ball – but with one significant design difference.

The new Chrome Tour is a four-piece construction compared to the three-piece that has been consistent through the lifespan of the Chrome Soft.

Callaway Chrome Tour Balls

The Chrome Tour is a medium construction and will appeal to many golfers, offering a low spin long game characteristics with high short game spin.

The new release has the same 332-dimple pattern, but has a new Seamless Tour Aero cover for more stable ball flights than any previous Callaway model.

The urethane soft cover is now more reactionary too to provide the promises spin levels both from the tee and around the greens.

The Chrome Tour balls are available in various colours including both white and yellow. They also have Triple Track and TruTrack versions on sale.

There is also a black alignment line on each of the versions for help on the putting greens.
