Hojgaard birdied the final six holes of The Earth Course at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai to win the DP World Tour Championship by two shots.

Hojgaard ended on 21-under for the week, two shots clear of Tommy Fleetwood, Matt Wallace and Viktor Hovland.

Hojgaard won his first DP World Tour title in 2021 in the Italian Open when holding off Tommy Fleetwood and Adrian Meronk by a shot.

The Dane doubled his tally with victory in the Ras Al Khaimah Championship at Al Hamra Golf Club in the United Arab Emirates in 2022.

Hojgaard, who’s twin brother Rasmus is also a tour winner, was part of the European Team at the 2023 Ryder Cup and helped the host retain the trophy in Rome in September.

Prior to his victory in Dubai, Hojgaard was ranked 70th in the Official World Golf Rankings. He moved up to 50th after the win.
