Verdict: Is the Callaway Chrome Soft X ball any good?

The Chrome Soft X golf ball is the firmer of the two models in the range from Callaway and is the firmer of the pair.

More suited to faster swing speed golfers, it is no surprise that this is the preferred choice for many of the tour stars searching for long distance from a piercing low ball flight, and a soft enough feel around the greens.

The X model isn’t likely to be for you if you have a slower swing speed, but if you are in the faster range you can consider this as an ideal option and an alternative to a Titleist Pro V1x or TaylorMade TP5x.
