Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K Three Putter Review (FORGIVING Blade)
The Three Putter has the forgiveness of a mallet in a blade design
The new Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K Three putter is one of five new models launched in 2022. What can you expect from the ground breaking blade putter?
Odyssey have launched five putters in the 5K series with the One, Two, Three, Double Wide and Triple Wide all offering the same performance but from different size putter head options.
The Tri-Hot 5K putters are an industry first as the first ever blades to boast 5000 MOI, providing the forgiveness of a mallet in a blade putter for the first time.
What Odyssey says about the Tri-Hot 5K #3 putter:
“The Tri-Hot 5K Three is a classically shaped heel toe weighted putter with a flow neck hosel yielding more toe hang making it suitable for strokes with more aggressive swing arc and face rotation.
“Tri-Hot 5K putters transform the performance of a blade with multi-material front loaded tungsten weighting that improves CG positioning while dramatically increasing inertia.
“Tri-Hot 5K is built to improve performance by reducing the amount of side spin on off-center hits. We achieve this through a 303 stainless steel front section that includes the hosel and face area.
“This material has been finish milled to exact shape and weight, helping to keep the CG forward. This keeps putts closer to the original line, with tighter dispersion, and a greater chance to go in on less-than-perfect strikes.”

Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K Three Putter Design & Features
The Three putter also has a traditional blade sized head, but this model comes with a flow neck hosel and is a heel toe weighted design to 70 degrees of toe hang.
Designed to suit golfers with an exaggerated swing arc on their putting stroke, it helps reduce face rotation and hole more putts.
The multi-material construction features a stainless steel element, tungsten weights and 6061 aircraft grade aluminium to leave the putter front loaded with weight.
There are toe and heel weights totalling 120 grams to help achieved the 5000 MOI, although they can be removed.
The white hot face insert is an integral part of the design and the Three putter, which also comes with a red Stroke Lab shaft.
