Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K Two Putter Review (CLASSICALLY Shaped)

Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K Two Putter

The new Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K Two putter is one of five new models launched in 2022. What can you expect from the ground breaking blade putter?

Odyssey have launched five putters in the 5K series with the One, Two, Three, Double Wide and Triple Wide all offering the same performance but from different size putter head options.

The Tri-Hot 5K putters are an industry first as the first ever blades to boast 5000 MOI, providing the forgiveness of a mallet in a blade putter for the first time.

What Odyssey says about the Tri-Hot 5K #2 putter:

“The Tri-Hot 5K Two is a classically shaped heel toe weighted putter with a crank neck hosel creating moderate toe hang making it suitable for strokes that have moderate arc and face rotation.

“Tri-Hot 5K putters transform the performance of a blade with multi-material front loaded tungsten weighting that improves CG positioning while dramatically increasing inertia.

“Tri-Hot 5K is built to improve performance by reducing the amount of side spin on off-center hits. We achieve this through a 303 stainless steel front section that includes the hosel and face area.

“This material has been finish milled to exact shape and weight, helping to keep the CG forward. This keeps putts closer to the original line, with tighter dispersion, and a greater chance to go in on less-than-perfect strikes.”

This option also comes with a crank hosel and suits a moderate arc putting stroke and golfers who struggle with the impact of face rotation on the putting green.

The white hot face insert is an integral part of the design and the Two also comes with a red Stroke Lab shaft.

Verdict: Is the Odyssey Tri-Hot Two Putter any good?

The Two putter, like the rest of the Tri-Hot series, is extremely forgiving. Think the forgiveness of a mallet but in a blade design.

There is little different in the performance of the five models in the series. It is more variation on putter head size and hosel, and the one is about as traditional as you will get.

The Two model comes with crank neck hosel with a marginal toe hang, making it the ideal choice for golfers with a slight arc stroke.
