Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K One Putter Review (Incredibly FORGIVING)
The One Putter is Odyssey's most forgiving blade yet and part of the Tri-Hot 5K series
The new Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K One putter is new for 2022 and breaks new ground as one of the first blades to have 5000 MOI.
One of five models in the Tri-Hot 5K putters series, the One is joined by the Two, Three, Double Wide and Triple Wide putters from Odyssey.
The Odyssey One putter is a traditional blade in design but enjoys the forgiveness of a mallet thanks to being one of the first putters ever to have a 5000 MOI.
What Odyssey says about the Tri-Hot One putter:
“The Tri-Hot 5K One is a classically shaped heel toe weighted putter with a crank neck hosel creating moderate toe hang making it suitable for strokes that have moderate arc and face rotation.
“Tri-Hot 5K putters transform the performance of a blade with multi-material front loaded tungsten weighting that improves CG positioning while dramatically increasing inertia.
“Tri-Hot 5K is built to improve performance by reducing the amount of side spin on off-center hits. We achieve this through a 303 stainless steel front section that includes the hosel and face area.
“This material has been finish milled to exact shape and weight, helping to keep the CG forward. This keeps putts closer to the original line, with tighter dispersion, and a greater chance to go in on less-than-perfect strikes.”

Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K One Putter Design & Features
The One model is a classic blade look and feel with this model in the Tri-Hot 5K series featuring a crank neck hosel.
The Odyssey One putter is toe hung and ideally suitable to golfers with a slight arc stroke and who struggle with face rotation on the putting green.
The putter, like all others in the range, has a multi-material front loaded tungsten weighting in the toe and heel (120 grams in total) to help achieve the groundbreaking 5000 MOI as well as increase CG.
The weights are removable, allowing for the 360g putter head to be adapted to suit the needs of all golfers.
The technology makes this putter, which also boasts Odyssey’s renowned white hot face insert and red Stroke Lab shaft, the most forgiving blade yet.

Verdict: Is the Odyssey Tri-Hot One Putter any good?
The One Putter is Odyssey’s premium blade design, but significantly this one has the forgiveness as a mallet.
That forgiveness is across the entire Tri-Hot 5K series of putters and is the big selling point of the One model. Keep those putts on line for longer with this 5000 MOI flat stick.
There is little different in the performance of the five models in the series. It is more variation on putter head size and hosel, and the one is about as traditional as you will get.
How much does the Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K One putter cost?
The new One putter is retailing at $399/£379 per putter.
When will the Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K One putter be released?
It is available now having first been released in January 2022.
Which is the best Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K putter?
The performance level is equal from across the range. All putters have the same technology and performance levels, the only difference is the size of the putter head.
