Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K Putters Review (FIVE New Blades)

Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K Putters

The new Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K putters series is new for 2022. Five models break uncharted territory with a blade like no other.

The Tri-Hot 5K putters are an industry first as the first ever blades to boast 5000 MOI. That allows the forgiveness of a mallet in a blade putter for the first time.

Odyssey have launched five putters in the 5K series with the One, Two, Three, Double Wide and Triple Wide offering different size putter head options.

What Odyssey says about the Tri-Hot 5K putters:

“A blade unlike any other. Unmatched forgiveness from a blade putter with over 5,000 MOI and a new forward CG.

“Forgiveness of a mallet in an easy to square blade putter. An industry first.

“The newest generation of our proven multi-material Stroke Lab shaft features even better performance.

“By shortening the steel section, we reduced the weight by seven grams compared to the original Stroke Lab.

We also made it stiffer and more stable for even more consistency in your stroke and your performance.”

Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K One Putter Review

The One model is a classic blade look and feel with this model in the Tri-Hot 5K series featuring a crank neck hosel.

The Odyssey One putter is toe hung and ideally suitable to golfers with a slight arc stroke and who struggle with face rotation on the putting green.

The putter, like all others in the range, has a multi-material front loaded tungsten weighting in the toe and heel (120 grams in total) to help achieve the groundbreaking 5000 MOI as well as increase CG.

The weights are removable, allowing for the 360g putter head to be adapted to suit the needs of all golfers.

The technology makes this putter, which also boasts Odyssey’s renowned white hot face insert and red Stroke Lab shaft, the most forgiving blade yet.

Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K Two Putter Review

Almost identical to the One putter, the Two differs slight with marginally less toe hung degrees (50 degrees compared to 52 degrees of the One model).

This option also comes with a crank hosel and suits a moderate arc putting stroke and golfers who struggle with the impact of face rotation on the putting green.

Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K Two Putter

The white hot face insert is an integral part of the design and the Two also comes with a red Stroke Lab shaft.

The multi-material design includes a stainless steel, tungsten and 6061 aircraft grade aluminium as well as the toe and heel weights totalling 120 grams which can be removed if preferential

Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K Three Putter Review

The Three putter also has a traditional blade sized head, but this model comes with a flow neck hosel and is a heel toe weighted design to 70 degrees of toe hang.

Designed to suit golfers with an exaggerated swing arc on their putting stroke, it helps reduce face rotation and hole more putts.

Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K Three Putter

The multi-material construction features a stainless steel element, tungsten weights and 6061 aircraft grade aluminium to leave the putter front loaded with weight.

There are toe and heel weights totalling 120 grams to help achieved the 5000 MOI, although they can be removed.

The white hot face insert is an integral part of the design and the Three putter, which also comes with a red Stroke Lab shaft.

Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K Double Wide Putter Review

The Double Wide model describes itself very well because this putter is exactly that – doubly wide compared to the One, Two and Three.

It features the same crank hosel as the One and Two putters, but has an elongated blade head that makes it 5g heavier than the sister models at 365g.

Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K Double Wide Putter

Designed to suit golfers with a moderate swing arc and face rotation, the size of the Double Wide means it offers plenty of confidence standing over crucial putts.

The toe and heel weights totalling 120 grams are included, while the combination of stainless steel element, tungsten and 6061 aircraft grade aluminium achieve 5000 of MOI.

Again, this putter had a white hot face insert and a red Stroke Lab shaft.

Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K Triple Wide Putter Review

The Triple Wide model is the biggest putter head of the entire range, and a first for Odyssey in terms of the size of the blade head.

Incredibly forgiving and confidence-inspiring, the Triple Wide had double bend hosel and in a face balanced putter. It suits a minimal arc stroke and is ideal for straight back and through.

The putter has a multi-material construction of stainless steel, tungsten and 6061 aircraft grade aluminium.

The combination creates a 5000 of MOI and 130 grams of unique toe and heel weights help with the forgiveness of this model.
