Rick Shiels Signs As LIV Golf Ambassador In Multi-Year Deal

Renowned YouTube golf personality Rick Shiels has officially signed a deal to become an ambassador and content creator for the LIV Golf League.

The announcement came on January 24, 2025, marking a significant move in the golf content creation landscape for both Shiels – who has 2.9 million subscribers – and LIV Golf.

In his new role, Shiels will attend all 14 LIV Golf League events in 2025, producing innovative content that aims to bring fans closer to the players, teams and courses of the circuit.

His content will include popular series such as Break 75 in which Shiels will play all LIV Golf venues the week of the event, aiming to break a score of 75.

Shiels will also produce the 10 Shot Challenge as he competes against LIV Golf 2025 players starting 10 under par.

A 5 Man Scramble with Shiels joining each LIV team for a 6-hole stretch will also be filmed, as will 2 v 2 Matches featuring players from each LIV team.

As part of the deal, Shiels will also launch TotShots, a recreational golf initiative designed to introduce children aged three to five to golf using engaging games and activities.

LIV Golf has committed to contributing $50,000 annually to this initiative.

In June 2025, Shiels announced a clothing sponsorship deal with Redvanly and he will wear the apparel during LIV Golf content.
