Ten new Scotty Cameron Super Select putters have been launched for 2023 with several new models joining the range.

As well as traditional Scotty Cameron putters that have stood the test of time, the new 2023 series feature plus models and newcomers across the 10 blades and mid-mallets.

Super Select putters include the Newport, Newport Plus, Newport 2 Newport 2 Plus, Newport 2.5 Plus, Squareback 2, Del Mar, Fastback 1.5, Golo 6 and Golo 6.5.

The putters replace the Special Select range as the number one from Scotty Cameron and we take a look at each of the new options launched.

Scotty Cameron Super Select Newport Putter

The classic Newport putter is part of the series but has a couple of tweaks from previous versions.

This design has a new I-beam plumbing neck in the latest model which Scotty Cameron believe enhances the performance.

The Newport features the dual-milled face technology, the aluminium sole plate, customisable weights and a greater MOI than in previous versions.

Scotty Cameron Super Select Newport Plus Putter

The Newport Plus is a new addition and very similar to the Newport, but with a slightly wider look.

This model is wider from face to flange and has been introduced to have a more confidence-inspiring look over the ball.

It has a good level of forgiveness from an increased MOI and has the dual milled face, aluminium sole plate and interchangeable weights.

Scotty Cameron Super Select Newport 2 Putter

The second of the iconic blade putters in the Super Select series, the Newport 2 takes its part in the new range.

The Newport 2 has a flatter and narrower topline, as well as square edges to set it apart from the Newport putter.

This heel-and-toe weighted putter also features the plumbing neck hosel and a medium toe-flow setup.

The latest dual milled face technology is used, and the aluminium sole plate and interchangeable weights are also present in this putter.

Scotty Cameron Super Select Newport 2 Plus Putter

A sister model to the Newport 2, the Plus is a slightly wider design with a more confidence inspiring putter head.

Like the Newport Plus, it is wider from flange to heel and offers a middle ground between the Newport 2 and the Squareback 2 in this series.

The dual milled putter head provides impressive roll on all speeds of greens and the sole weights can be changed to find you the perfect weighting and setup.

Scotty Cameron Super Select Newport 2.5 Plus Putter

An additional design of the classic Newport, the 2.5 Plus offers a different look thanks to the I-beam-style jet neck.

The jet neck hosel in this model promotes a significant toe flow in the Newport 2.5 Plus, which is wide from flange to heel as a slightly oversized blade.

Expect more forgiveness from this MOI-enhanced model, adjustability from the sole weights, aluminium sole plate and a dual milled putter head that delivers time after time.

Scotty Cameron Super Select Squareback 2 Putter

The Squareback 2 is a popular shaped mid-mallet from Scotty Cameron and the latest version is part of the Super Select series.

With a larger head than the Newports, you get plenty of confidence over the ball with the much more prominent Squareback head.

It has a classic hosel in the shape of the I-beam plumbing neck, which provides a classic look and fuss-free alignment.

The Squareback 2, which has a high MOI, comes with interchangeable stainless steel sole weights within the integrated 6061 aluminum sole plate and the standard dual milled solid milled face.

Scotty Cameron Super Select Del Mar Putter

Scotty Cameron’s popular Del Mar putter has been given a makeover for 2023 with a slightly new look in the Super Select range.

The new model features snippets of cherry red colours in the new look to contrast with the stainless steel look, a new refined flange and more contours and a narrows topline at address.

The half-mallet design is described by Scotty Cameron as a “compact mallet” and has a heel-shafted design this time around with a toe flow.

The putter is made from precision milled, solid 303 stainless steel putter and has two customizable stainless steel sole weights to get the most from your game.

Scotty Cameron Super Select Fastback 1.5 Putter

The Fastback 1.5 is another mid-mallet in the Super Select series, this model also featured the new solid dual milled face for 2023.

Featuring more weight in the heel and toe, the MOI has been elevated in the latest Fastback 1.5 design to make it more stable and more forgiving than in previous versions.

Not overly sized, the Fastback 1.5 offers the benefits of a mallet with the performance of a blade in one complete package and features the new Scotty Cameron I-beam jet neck hosel.

Like the others in the range, the putter head is joined by 6061 aluminum sole plate and two customizable stainless steel sole weights to adjust the setup to suit your game.

Scotty Cameron Super Select GOLO 6 Putter

The GOLO 6 is included in the Super Select range as a new size of the hugely popular model is launched by Scotty Cameron.

The shape of the rounded mallet is the same, but the putter head has been crafted in a size to sit in between the existing GOLO 5 and GOLO 7 putters.

The GOLO 6 design has a mid-bend shaft for a face balanced setup from the dual milled stainless steel face. Weight has been positioned in the perimeter of the head to increase MOI and forgiveness.

The 6061 aircraft aluminum sole plate is part of this design to keep the weight down and improve the feel, along with two stainless steel sole weights to adjust the weight of the putter.

Scotty Cameron Super Select GOLO 6.5 Putter

A second version of the GOLO putter is among the Super Select options following the launch of the 6.5 model.

Very similar is design to the GOLO 6, this putter differs by having a small I-beam jet neck to give the GOLO 6.5 more of a toe flow to suit an arced putting stroke.

This putter has the dual milled solid stainless steel face for improved feel and plenty of forgiveness thanks to a high MOI.

Like the GOLO 6, the 6.5 features to customizable stainless steel sole weights that can be swapped as well as a 6061 aluminum sole plate.

Verdict: Are the Scotty Cameron Super Select Putters any good?

The Super Select range features some design tweaks from previous series like the Special Select and Jet Set Special Select to bring something new to the market for 2023.

The improved face, adjusted hosel with the launch of the I-beam design and the perfected weighting mean you get a better all round performance.

The introduction of some new models in the shape of the GOLO 6 and GOLO 6.5 provides more forgiving options to sit alongside the classics like the Newport.
