Mizuno D111 Driver (Prototype For 2025 Launched)

Mizuno have launched a new prototype driver known as D111 after it was added to the Conforming List.

Little is known about the features of D111, but it looks set for a 2025 release after being listed on the USGA Conforming List in January 2025.

We take a look at the images and information available to look at what the D111 might offer and the type of golfers it is aimed at.

Mizuno have also launched the S-3 irons, T-1 and T-3 wedges and Pro S and Pro X balls for 2025.

Mizuno D111 Prototype Driver Specs & Features

Images of the driver and some small details are all that is known with the D111 looking very similar to other Mizuno ranges with a slick black colourway.

From the information on the Conforming List, we know that the driver is a prototype and is available in 9.5 and 10.5 degree lofts.

It also features a 10g rear sole weight that is interchangeable, suggesting this model will be high launching and have low CG and be high on MOI and forgiveness.

The images also show and adjustable hosel that is likely to have up to four degrees of adjustment as is standard in Mizuno drivers.

From the sole image, the driver also looks to have a version of the Mizuno Cortech Chamber locket behind the face for aiding ball striking and ball speeds.

Given Mizuno launched the ST-X 230, ST-Z 230, ST Max 230 and ST-G 440 models in 2023, the D111 could be a new 2025 model with a typical two year gap between new versions.
