The Stealth 2 Plus+ is one of three new additions to the market for 2023 with Taylormade introduced tweaked versions of the Plus, Stealth and Stealth HD drivers.
Just a year on from the debut of the Stealth drivers, we have a second generation with the Stealth 2 Plus released to provide more “fargiveness” with more distance and forgiveness.
The 100% carbon driver features a 60X Carbon Twist Face once again along with Speed Pocket, adjustable hosel and sliding weight, but significantly now contain the “missing element” with more forgiveness.

TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus Driver Specs & Design
The Stealth 2 Plus+ driver is the more adjustable of the options once again compared to the Stealth 2 and Stealth 2 HD models.
The Plus has the Speedpocket, TaylorMade’s Twist Face Technology once again and the “60X Carbon Twist Face” composite club which is retained from the original Stealth.
The rear sole weight was fixed in the Stealth Plus+ and was also black in the original. In the 2 model, the weight is a 15g tungsten weight and has been designed for more forgiveness.
Another difference from the Stealth 2 is that the Plus+ has a 15g adjustable weight (increased from the 10g in the original Plus driver) that allows this driver to be set up on a sliding scale from draw to fade.
The Stealth 2 Plus also features an adjustable hosel with lofts of 8 degrees, 9 degrees and 10.5 degrees. The left-handed option will be 9 degrees and 10.5 degrees.
Verdict: Is the TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus+ Driver any good?
The Stealth Plus was widely acclaimed and in the bag of major tour stars including Rory McIlroy, and the second version is an improvement from initial images.
TaylorMade believe they have added a missing element and that is more forgiveness on this second generation by getting the perfecting weighting structure.
The noticeable change is that 15g back weight and the additional tungsten in the sliding weight in the Plus+ with the combination added forgiveness to the explosive distances on offer.
