“A thicker 5mm aluminum insert offers great sound, a solid feel, and was designed to optimize roll characteristics.

“A new patina finish that combines black nickel and copper to create a reveal on the edges and sole of the putter. This patina finish creates a rich, clean, and unique look that oxidizes over time.”

TaylorMade TP Patina DuPage Design & Features

The DuPage putter is one of two new designs in the TP Patina range and a mallet that certainly catches the eye from an aesthetics point of view.

TaylorMade have come up with a large mallet head for the DuPage that will help inspire confidence over putts.

The face-balanced putter has a single bend shaft and the same design aids and technology that is used throughout the TP Patina range.

There is also a long single sightline running down the centre of the mallet head, to aid alignment over putts.

When it comes to technology, TaylorMade have worked hard at improving the TP Patina range with a thicker PureRoll aluminium insert increased in size by 5mm and air pockets reduced behind the insert to help ball striking.

Verdict: Is the TaylorMade TP Patina DuPage putter?

The DuPage is an attractive mallet putter with a lot going for it, offering a face balanced option to add to the bag.

The design of the putter head makes it very clean to look at when standing over the ball, particularly the large alignment line.

With the new and improved PureRoll insert creating a cleaner strike on the ball, you can expect to threaten those birdies and pars more and bring down your putts per round.
