The 2025 Chevron Championship is the inaugural major of the LPGA season with defending champion Nelly Korda heading the betting odds to win again.
The tournament taking place from April 24–27 at The Club at Carlton Woods in The Woodlands, Texas, with Korda the defending champion.
Korda triumphed in 2024 when the world number one secured her fifth consecutive LPGA Tour victory, following in the footsteps of recent winners Lilia Vu, Jennifer Kupcho and Patty Tavatanakit.
Other former champions include Annika Sörenstam, Betsy King, Juli Inkster and Karrie Webb.
The Chevron Championship boasts a $7.9 million purse, with $1.2 million awarded to the winner.

Tournament Format & Field
The Chevron Championship follows a 72-hole stroke play format, with a cut after 36 holes that sees the top 65 players and ties advance to the final two rounds.
The 120-player field includes past champions such as Lydia Ko, Jin Young Ko and Patty Tavatanakit, defending champion Nelly Korda and major winners like Minjee Lee, Yuka Saso and Brooke Henderson.
Eight amateurs, including World No.1 Lottie Woad and Augusta National Women’s Amateur champion Carla Bernat Escuder, are also part of the field.
