The event was first held in 2019 as a new event on the PGA Tour calendar and is just the fourth edition in 2022.
The 3M Open is played at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Tony Finau is the reigning champion having won the event in 2022.
Other former winners of the event include Matt Wolff, who won the inaugural 3M Open in 2019, Michael Thompson and Cameron Champ.

The 3M Open will be played over four rounds / 72 holes on the TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minneapolis, Minnesota, with a cut after the opening two rounds.

- Day 4 – Sunday, July 30
The tournament carries a total prize fund of $7,800,000 USD.
