The Texas Open was first held in 1922, making it the third oldest PGA Tour event and the sixth oldest worldwide.

The event is played at the on the AT&T Oaks Course at TPC San Antonio, and is the latest event of the 2022/23 PGA Tour season.

The Valero Texas Open is the final event before The 2023 Masters and attracts a strong field looking to seal the final places at Augusta National.

JJ Spaun is the reigning champion after winning the event in 2022.

Texas Open will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at TPC San Antonio with a cut after the opening two rounds.

• Day 2 – Friday, March 31
• Day 3 – Saturday, April 1
• Day 4 – Sunday, April 2

The tournament carries a total prize fund of $8,900,000 USD.
