The tournament is the opening event of the 2024 LPGA Tour season and is being played Lake Nona Golf & Country Club in Orlando, Florida, United States.

The Tournament of Champions, sponsored by Hilton Grand Vacations, is limited to players who have won an event in the previous two LPGA Tour seasons.

The Tournament of Champions was first held in 2019 and is the first prize of the new season in January each year.

Brooke Henderson is the reigning champion after winning the 2023 Tournament of Champions by four shots.

Other former winners include Eun-hee Ji, Gaby Lopez, Jessica Korda and Danielle Kang.

The Tournament of Champions will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at Lake Nona Golf & Country Club in Orlando, Florida, United States.

The tournament carries a total prize fund of $1,500,000 USD.
