It moves to the new venue for the first time having previously been held at LPGA International in Busan in 2019 and 2021, Oak Valley Country Club in Wonju in 2022 and Seowon Valley Country Club in 2023 and 2024.

Formed originally as a LPGA Tour of Korea event, Yoon-ji Cho won in 2015 before Jin Young Ko took the title in 2016 and 2017.

Hana Jang won in 2019 as the event was upgraded to LPGA Tour status and Ko took the title in 2021 after a one-year gap in 2020.

Lydia Ko won in 2022, Minjee Lee took the title in 2023 and Hannah Green is the defending champion following victory 12 months ago with those trio among the leading betting odds contenders.
