Previously know as the Palos Verdes Championship and held at Palos Verdes Estate, the tournament got a new name and new venue in 2023.
The JM Eagle LA Championship took place at Wilshire Country Club in 2023 and 2024 but moves to El Caballero Country Club for the 2025 edition.
Hannah Green is the two-time defending champion after winning the 2023 and 2024 titles at Wilshire Country Club in California.
Other former winners of the tournament under its previous name were Moriya Jutanugarn, Minjee Lee and Nasa Hataoka.
