The event is played on the TPC Louisiana in Avondale, Louisiana, and is the latest event of the 2026 PGA Tour season.
The tournament, which first became a team event in 2017, is a unique two-man event with 80 teams competing for the prestigious prize.
The event was first held in 1938 as the Crescent City Open and has been staged continuously since 1958 under a number of different names.
Ben Griffin and Andrew Novak are the reigning champions after winning the Zurich Classic of New Orleans in 2025. The pair are among the top Zurich Classic contenders to win again

Zurich Classic of New Orleans Golf Format & Schedule
Zurich Classic of New Orleans will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at TPC Louisiana in Avondale, Louisiana.
Eighty teams will compete across the opening two days with the top 33 and ties making the cut and playing the weekend.
The opening round and third round is played in Fourball format with Foursomes on day two and for the final round.

- Day 2 – Friday, April 24 (Foursomes)
- Day 3 – Saturday, April 25 (Fourballs)
- Day 4 – Sunday, April 26 (Foursomes)
The Zurich Classic tournament carries a total prize fund of $9,500,000 USD.
