Angel Yin landed her first LPGA Tour victory when winning the Buick LPGA Shanghai in October 2023. A look at Angel Yin: What’s In The Bag.
Yin broke her LPGA Tour duck with a play-off victory over world number one Lilia Vu at Qizhong Garden Golf Club in China.
The pair had both finished on 14-under par before a birdie three on the first extra hole saw Yin claim victory in the Buick LPGA Shanghai.
It was revenge of sorts for Yin, who lost out to Vu in a play-off in the Chevron Championship major in April 2023.
Yin does have a Ladies European Tour win on her CV having won the title at the Omega Dubai Ladies Classic in 2017.
Prior to victory in the Buick LPGA Shanghai, Yin was ranked 35th in World Rolex Rankings.
In 2024, Yin became a shareholder in clothing company Fairmonde Golf.
