Bank of Utah Championship 2025: Who Are The Leading Betting Odds Favourites?

The PGA Tour returns with the 2025 Bank of Utah Championship taking place from October 23-26 at the Black Desert Resort in Ivins, Utah.

Formerly known as the Black Desert Championship, the newly named Bank of Utah Championship is part of the FedExCup Fall series of the 2025 PGA Tour season.

The tournament is set against the dramatic red rock landscapes and lava fields of southern Utah on the Tom Weiskopf-designed course. at Black Desert Resort.

A field of leading PGA Tour stars will compete for a $6 million purse in what is just the second edition after Matt McCarty‘s victory in the inaugural edition in 2024.

Maverick McNealy, Alex Noren, Michael Thorbjornsen, Kurt Kitayama and Jason Day are among the leading hopes in the betting odds.

Bank of Utah Championship Leading Contenders

Maverick McNealy

Maverick McNealy has had a strong 2025 PGA Tour season highlighted by consistent performances and a 2nd place at The Genesis Invitational and a 3rd at the BMW Championship.

Alex Noren

Alex Noren is a seasoned DP World Tour star and multiple-time winner – including in this year’s British Masters – with a steady, precise game.

He’s known for his strong iron play and experience on challenging courses and brings a wealth of tournament experience that can give him an edge on this tough layout.

Michael Thorbjornsen

Michael Thorbjornsen is a young talent making steady progress on the PGA Tour and his strength lies in his ball striking and ability to navigate difficult courses.

His performance in 2025 has shown promise, and he could turn continue that form and contend at the Bank of Utah Championship.

Kurt Kitayama

Kurt Kitayama enters as a strong competitor thanks to his consistent ball striking and recent form. He has shown skill in desert-style courses similar to Black Desert and is expected to contend with a solid short game and putting.

Jason Day

Jason Day, a former world No. 1 and major champion, has the experience and competitive form make him a dangerous contender.
