Harman, who hadn’t won since triumphing in the 2023 Open Championship, could afford a final round of three-over par in the Texas Open and still comfortably seal victory by three shots.
The American mastered tricky conditions to finish on nine under par at TPC San Antonio, three clear of Ryan Gerard.
Harman had not been in the winners’ circle since winning the 2023 Open at Royal Liverpool with a dominant six shot victory over Jason Day, Tom Kim, Jon Rahm and Sepp Straka.
Harman is a three-time PGA Tour winner following successes in the John Deere Classic in 2014, the Wells Fargo Championship in 2017 and the Texas Open in 2025.
The left-hander also had success in the QBE Shootout in 2018, teaming up with Patrick Kizzire to win the year-ending team event.
Harman was part of the United States Ryder Cup team in 2023 that lost to the Europeans in Rome.
