Tyrrell Hatton: What’s In The Bag

Tyrrell Hatton What's In The Bag

Tyrrell Hatton claimed his first win of 2025 when landing the title at the Dubai Desert Classic in January. A look at Tyrrell Hatton: What’s In The Bag.

It was Hatton’s eighth DP World Tour win as he recorded a one-shot victory over Daniel Hillier at the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai.

Hatton carded a final round of three-under par in the Dubai Desert Classic to overturn a one shot deficit on Hillier and claim the title. It was his fifth Rolex Series win to equal Jon Rahm’s record.

Hatton had won the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship for the third time in October 2024 to add to victories in the event in 2016 and 2017.

Hatton also won on the DP World Tour in the 2017 Italian Open, 2019 Turkish Airlines Open, 2020 BMW PGA Championship and 2021 Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.

Hatton ended a three-and-a-half year drought when winning the LIV Golf Nashville title in June 2024 for his first victory since joining the LIV Golf tour.

The Englishman’s sole PGA Tour win came in the 2020 Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Hatton also won on the PGA EuroPro Tour in the 2012 Your Golf Travel Classic and on the Jamega Pro Golf Tour in the 2011 Woodcote Park and 2012 Caversham Heath tournaments.

Hatton is a three-time Ryder Cup representative for Europe, winning in 2018 and 2023 and being on the losing side in 2021.
