The Frenchman won three times on the Alps Tour, but had failed to make the breakthrough at DP World Tour level after stepping up.
The wait ended when Lacroix recorded a dominant four-shot victory over Lucas Bjerregaard and Romain Langasque in the 2024 Danish Golf Championship.
Lacroix turned professional in 2019 and immediately won three times on the Alps Tour in the Ein Bay Open, Alps de Las Castillas and Saint-Malo Golf Mixed Open.
He earned his DP World Tour card for 2022 following a solid Challenge Tour season, only to lose it after one year. Lacroix then earned it back against for 2024 despite failing to win.
