Hae Ran Ryu landed her fourth LPGA Tour win and first major when taking the title at the Women’s PGA Championship in June 2026. A look at Hae Ran Ryu: What’s In The Bag.
Ryu has now won in each of the last four LPGA seasons and the latest was a maiden major as she lifted the 2026 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.
The South Korean finished 13-under par at Hazeltine Country Club, two shots clear of compatriot Ina Yoon to claim the biggest payday of her career.
Haeran Ryu was already a five-time winner in her native South Korea, before claiming her first LPGA Tour victory in the 2023 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship.
Almost a year after claiming her first win, Ryu shot a final round 64 and then won a play-off with fellow South Korean Jin Young Ko to seal victory in the inaugural FM Championship in 2024.
She made that three wins in as many season when taking the title in the inaugural 2025 Black Desert Championship, five clear of nearest challenger Esther Henseleit.
Ryu was a rookie on the LPGA Tour after earning her place in the 2023 season via the Q School.
Prior to that, Ryu won five times on the LPGA Tour of Korea in the 2019 and 2020 Jeju Samdasoo Masters, the ELCRU-TV Chosun Pro Celebrity and SK Shieldus-SK Telecom Championship in 2021 and the 2022 Nexen Saint Nine Masters.
