Ines Laklalech: What’s In The Bag

Ines Laklalech

Ines Laklalech created history on three fronts when winning the Lacoste Ladies Open De France in September 2022. A look at Ines Laklalech: What’s In The Bag.

The Moroccan rookie became the first Moroccan, first Arab and first North African woman to win a Ladies European Tour title when triumphing in Deauville, France.

Laklalech defeated Meghan Maclaren in a play-off to win the Lacoste Ladies Open De France after the pair ended on 14-under par.

Laklalech was ready to turn her back on professional golf before coming through LET Q School in December 2021 to secure her card for the 2022 season.

She has recorded four top 10 results in her debut season before achieving history with the victory in France.

Prior to her win in Ladies Open De France, Laklalech was ranked 504th in the Rolex Rankings for the World Women’s Golf Standings.
