Patrick Reed landed his first title of the year when winning the Dubai Desert Classic in January 2026. A look at Patrick Reed: What’s In The Bag.
Reed was claiming his first Rolex Series win and did so with a dominant display to win the 2026 Dubai Desert Classic in style.
The American held a four-shot lead before the final round at the Emirates Golf Club and maintained that advantage to seal victory in Dubai.
It was Reed’s first title since breaking his LIV Golf drought in June 2025 when winning the 2025 LIV Golf Dallas in his home state of Texas.
Before making the switch to LIV Golf, Reed won nine times on the PGA Tour including a major victory in the 2018 Masters at Augusta.
He also won the 2013 Wyndham Championship, 2014 Humana Challenge and WGC-Cadillac Championship, 2015 Hyundai Tournament of Champions, 2016 The Barclays, 2019 The Northern Trust, 2020 WGC-Mexico Championship and 2021 Farmers Insurance Open.
Reed also won on the Asian Tour in the 2024 Link Hong Kong Open.
Captain America has represented his country in the Ryder Cup three times in 2014, 2016 and 2018 and won all three Presidents Cups he has played in in 2015, 2017 and 2019.
Reed previously had a deal in place to play PXG clubs but is now a free agent.
