PXG 0311 GEN5 Hybrids Design & Features

The PXG 0311 GEN5 hybrids are new for 2022 with the design of the fifth generation based around a high MOI and low CG to provide the ultimate forgiveness and versatility.

For the 0311 GEN5 series, in general, the changes implemented by PXG have been focused on the moment of inertia (MOI) and forgiveness.

With changes to the club’s crown featuring Aluminum Vapor (AV) Technology, a new tall HT1770 stainless steel face for fast ball speeds, and sole, which is flat and features adjustable weights, PXG is continuing to push the envelope regarding design to improve performance.

The 0311 GEN5 X hybrid is aimed at golfers of all abilities with low spin levels the key attribute along with high ball speeds and added distance.

The XF model is mid-spin and the more forgiving of the two options, built with a long heel to toe length and larger clubhead to inspire more confidence.

The other key difference is that the XF features Railed Sole Geometry – two rails on the sole – to improve turf interaction compared to the X hybrid.

The X hybrid is available in 2-hybrid (17 degrees) to 5-hybrid (25 degrees). The XF hybrid is available in 3-hybrid (19 degrees) to 7-hybrid (31 degrees).
