Sami Valimaki landed his first PGA Tour victory when winning the RSM Classic in November 2025. A look at Sami Valimaki: What’s In The Bag.

Valimaki has enjoyed a solid season the PGA Tour and created history by becoming the first Finnish golfer to win when landing the title at the 2025 RSM Classic.

Having twice been runner-up in 2025, Valimaki went one better in Georgia as his total of 23-under par was enough to defeat Max McGreevy by a shot.

It was more than two years since Valimaki’s last win, which came in a play-off victory over Jorge Campillo to win the 2023 Qatar Masters.

That was Valimaki’s second DP World Tour win having previously won the Oman Open in March 2020 for his breakthrough victory.

Prior to that, the Finn recorded Pro Golf Tour wins in the Open Casa Green Golf, Starnberg Open, EXTEC CzechOne Open and Castanea Resort Championship in 2019.

He also won the 2019 NRG Open on the Finnish Golf Tour.
