TaylorMade Qi35 drivers have been unveiled for 2025 as the successor to the hugely popular Qi10 range. How do they rate vs Qi10 models?
The Qi10, Qi10 Max and Qi10 LS drivers have all enjoyed success on Tour in 2024, but that hasn’t stopped TaylorMade improving on them – as the Qi35 takes over in 2025.
There will once again be the three main models in the range with the Qi35, Qi35 Max and Qi35 LS as well as newcomer in the shape of the Qi35 Max Lite.
They join the Callaway Elyte drivers, Ping G440 drivers and Cobra DS-ADAPT drivers as new 2025 launches, and are part of a Qi35 series launch that also includes fairway woods, hybrids and irons.
The Qi35 features new crown constructions, new weighting systems and classics like the Twist Face, Thru Speed Pocket and Infinity Carbon Crown for the most impressive look yet.
For 2026, the Qi35 will be replaced following the launch of new TaylorMade Qi4D drivers.
TaylorMade Qi35 Driver Specs & Features
The Qi35 driver is the standard model of the options and the one that will appeal to most golfers, offering both distance and forgiveness.
The Qi35 has one notable change compared to the Qi10, which was Scottie Scheffler’s driver of choice, with the sole weight moved more central in this new 2025 design. That weight was located towards the heel in the 2024 Qi10 model.

Otherwise, the Qi35 still has the Infinity Carbon Crown design is now made from five strategic materials – chromium carbon, steel, aluminum, tungsten and titanium – and keeps weight down and pushes MOI to levels previously unachievable.
The carbon fibre face is retained in the Qi35 with Twist Face Technology, and promises to deliver “more distance from more of the face” following tweaks to the design.
TaylorMade’s Thru-Slot Speed Pocket also continues to be a key part of the design and helps play a part in 13% more accuracy than the Qi10 series.
The Trajectory Adjustment System, as TaylorMade are calling it, features two movable weights in the rear and behind the face to offer setup options and control spin and launch depending on preference.
The heavier option in the rear weight port helps provide maximum forgiveness, a stable ball launch and trajectory and maintain ball speeds, while a heavy front weight brings spin levels down.
The Qi35 driver is available in 9 degrees, 10.5 degrees and 12 degrees. The driver and can be adjusted by four degrees (two degrees up and down).
TaylorMade Qi35 LS Driver Specs & Features
The Qi35 LS is the most advanced version with this low-spin option the upgraded model of Rory McIlroy’s Qi10 driver.
This is the lower spinning, low launching option and suits players with fast swing speeds targeting workability with a hint of forgiveness.
The Qi35 LS had a deep face design and is more compact overall that the Qi35 and Qi35 Max with the traditional clubhead shape offering more workability for better golfers to exploit.

A significant change is the single 18g steel sliding weight has been replaced with three interchangeable sole weights of 13g and two 3g, one in the toe, one in the heel and one in the rear for setup options aplenty.
The Infinity Crown and clubhead is constructed from five materials – chromium carbon, steel, aluminum, tungsten and titanium – for what TaylorMade believe is the best combination yet.
The carbon fiber Twist face is also part of the LS model and maintain ball speeds from more areas of the face, and works in conjunction with the Thru-Slot Speed Pocket behind the face.
The Qi35 LS driver comes in lofts of 8 degrees, 9 degrees and 10.5 degrees and can be adjusted by four degrees (two degrees up and down).
TaylorMade Qi35 Max Driver Specs & Features
The Qi35 Max is once again the most forgiving of the options with a slightly more shallow club head and more depth from front to back.
The design of the clubhead in the Max, which has been the go-to option for Nelly Korda’s bag in the Qi10 range, allows TaylorMade to keep weight position in the perimeter to increase the MOI and forgiveness.
Stamped on the sole of the Qi35 Max is the wording 10kg-cm2, and that references the fact the level of forgiveness in this model surpasses 10K MOI.

There is no sole weight in this model, a significant change compared to the Qi10 Max which had a heel weight. There is, however, the same rear weight as used in the Qi35 design.
The Max driver also has the Infinity Carbon Crown for maximum weight savings and to help lower the center of gravity with a five construction design used featuring chromium carbon, steel, aluminum, tungsten and titanium.
There is the carbon fiber Twist Face once again and the now standard Thru-Slot Speed Pocket positioned behind the face to provide consistent ball speeds from strikes low on the face.
The Qi35 Max driver is available in 9 degrees, 10.5 degrees and 12 degrees and can be adjusted by four degrees (two degrees up and down).
TaylorMade Qi35 Max Lite Driver Specs & Features
The new addition to the series is the Qi35 Max Lite, which features is designed as an easy-to-hit model for golfers with slower than average swing speeds.
The design of the clubhead is very similar to the Max, although it does feature a white rear colouring to the crown as part of weight savings made to make this ultralite
TaylorMade has positioned a 24g weight in the rear of the sole to deliver the highest launch of the entire series and incorporated lightweight components throughout.

The Max Lite driver still has the Infinity Carbon Crown and is crafted from five materials including chromium carbon, steel, aluminum, tungsten and titanium.
The face is carbon fiber and the driver features the Thru-Slot Speed Pocket positioned behind the face. The two combine to deliver fast ball speeds even from the slowest of swing speeds.
The Qi35 Max Lite driver is available in 10.5 degrees and 12 degrees. The driver can be adjusted by four degrees (two degrees up and down).
TaylorMade Qi35 Drivers Review: Are they any good?
TaylorMade’s Qi10 was simply stunning and seriously successful and you could argue it didn’t need replacing following the exploits of world number ones Scottie Scheffler and Nelly Korda in 2024.
But no golf manufacturer stands still and the Qi35s have arrived with some subtle, yet interesting changes made to the design – most notably in the use of five separate materials in creating the range.
The design to lose the sliding weight on the LS model is an intriguing move, as is the repositioning of the sole weights in the standard model.
The end result is 13% more accuracy off the tee, more fairways found, longer distance from across the improved face and an overall improved performance.
The interesting move is to introduce the Max Lite as the fourth family member with this model ultralite, featuring maximum weight savings and designed for golfers with slower swing speeds.
