The Ladies Italian Open returns to the 2024 Ladies European Tour schedule after a one year break having last week held on the tour in 2022.

The Italian Open was first held in 1987, dropping off the tour at intervals in 1998, 2010, 2012-2013 and 2015-2020.

The 2024 edition will be staged at Golf Nazionale in Rome for the first time.

It was previously been hosted around Italy and Sicily at Croara, Ca’ della Nave, Carimate, Gardagolf, Albarella, Frassenelle, Lignano, Il Picciolo, Poggio dei Medici, Parco di Roma, Parco de’ Medici, Argentario, Le Rovedine Milano, Perugia Golf Club and Margara.

Morgane Metraux is the reigning champion after winning the tournament when it was last held in 2022.

Previous winners of the event include Laura Davies, Sophie Gustafson, Paula Marti, Iben Tinning, Gwladys Nocera, Trish Johnson, Marianne Skarpnord and Christina Kim.

The Ladies Italian Open will be played over three rounds / 54 holes at Golf Nazionale in Rome, Italy.

• Day 1 – Friday, June 14
• Day 2 – Saturday, June 15
• Day 3 – Sunday, June 16

The tournament carries a total prize fund of €300,000.
