Robert MacIntyre claimed his second DP World Tour win when landing the Italian Open title in September 2022. A look at Robert MacIntyre: What’s In The Bag.

Scotland’s MacIntyre sealed his second DP World Tour success with a play-off victory over Matt Fitzpatrick at the Italian Open.

MacIntyre shot a seven-under par final round at the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club to finish on 14-under along with Fitzpatrick. A par at the first extra hole was then enough for victory.

Left-hander MacIntyre made his European Tour debut in 2019 when twice runner-up and named Rookie of the Year to win the Sir Henry Cotton award.

His first European Tour title was achieved in 2020 when MacIntyre fulfilled his promise by winning the Aphrodite Hills Cyprus Showdown.

The win in the Italian Open moved MacIntyre up from 110th to 68th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
