The 2025 Irish Open golf takes place from September 4-7. Watch a 2025 Irish Open live stream of all the action from the DP World Tour event.

The Irish Open is the latest event of the 2025 DP World Tour season and is one of the richest events in terms of prize money outside of the Rolex Series.

The Irish Open was first held in 1927 and first joined the European Tour in 1975 and has been a firm fixture ever since.

The tournament returns to The K Club in County Kildare in Republic of Ireland for 2025 having previously been staged at the venue in 2016 and 2023.

Other venues to have staged the event include Portmarnock, Royal Portrush, Royal Dublin, Cork, Malone, Belvoir Park, Woodbrook, Killarney, Mount Juliet, Druids Glen, Ballybunion, Fota Island Resort, County Louth, Carton House, Adare Manor, Ballyliffin, Lahinch, Galgorm Castle and Royal County Down.

Rasmus Hojgaard is the current champion after victory in 2024. He won’t be defending his title, leaving last year’s runner-up Rory McIlroy as the 2025 Irish Open betting odds favourite.

Irish Open Format & Schedule

The Irish Open golf will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at The K Club in County Kildare in Republic of Ireland. There is a cut at the 36-hole stage.

  • Day 3 – Saturday, September 9
  • Day 4 – Sunday, September 10

The Irish Open tournament carries a prize fund of $6,000,000.
