Callaway have made a first foray into the mini driver section with the launch of the AI Smoke Ti 340 Mini driver, offering a bridge between big stick and fairway woods.

Following in the footsteps of TaylorMade’s BRNR Mini driver and Titleist’s TSR2 Mini driver, Callaway have listened to fans of the brand and launched their very own small headed option.

The Ti 340 Mini driver is part of the AI Smoke series and joins the four new models – the Max, Max D, Max Fast and Triple Diamond – is the range.

The Mini also features the new AI face design process called AI Smart Face with multiple sweet spots, but has been designed with a 340cc clubhead to help reduce spin and give an option of a tee peg or the deck.

The new Callaway Mini driver represents a move into the unknown for the brand as the follow two of their biggest rivals into this unique sector.

This driver integrates Callaway’s most sophisticated face technology to date, the Ai Smart Face, which utilizes real player data and machine learning.

With multiple sweet spots, the Ai Smart Face has proven to be a major hit in the AI Smoke series and that should be no different even on the mini driver face, which is Titanium in construction.

The compact model is designed for golfers seeking an alternative to traditional drivers with the Ti 340 producing a higher launch of a fairway wood with more spin, resulting in softer landings.

Not only does it have a compact design in clubhead shape and size, it also has shorter shafts too and the smaller footprint helps bring out additional yardage and with a tighter dispersion.

The driver includes a front/back weight screw design, allowing the setup to be adjusted by swapping a 4g front weight and a 12g rear weight to fine-tune launch and spin numbers.
