“The irons have a midsize profile to inspire more confidence and have a carbon embossed insert placed in the rear of the cavity to enhance the feel and sound of this iron, to play solid feeling shots.

“These beautiful forged irons from Honma are hand shaped by master craftsmen in Sakata, Japan. To provide distance in an iron design which inspires confidence to be able to work the ball at the address position.”

Honma TW747P Irons Design

The key design feature in the TW747 irons is the clubface, which is incredibly thin and helps to generate more power through their swing.

The club heads have been designed midsize, and the carbon embossed insert positioned in the cavity helps provide a truer sound and feel through the swing than in any previous Honma range of irons.

The 20g tungsten weight of the TW747P irons covers the entire length of the sole to help launch trajectory and provide forgiveness from off-centre strikes.

A graphite dampener absorbs the connection power and softens the feel and sound upon transition from club to ball.

An S20C forged steel shaft and black mirror finish provide a more lightweight feel and sleek, modern look to the Honma irons.

Honma TW747P Irons Verdict

Honma have constructed an impressive iron, which comes as no surprise as it sits in the TWorld premium range.

The thin clubface has been well thought out with the TW747P irons adding further length and distance to your game – as well as an excellent feel through the irons.

The one negative to the Honma irons, is that they are more expensive than similar products on the market in the premium end of the sector.
