Japanese golf manufacturer Homma released the Honma TW747P irons as part of the premium TWorld Series.
The handcrafted steel irons are part of a brand new TWorld 747 ranges that also includes the TW747 driver, fairway woods and wedges.
Thinner faces ensure TW474P irons produce exception speed and distance, are forgiving and provide a seamless, lightweight feel through the swing for the most impressive of performances.
What Honma say about the TW747P irons:
“The TW747 P iron has been engineered to provide speed and distance with thinner faster faces in a more confidence-inspiring profile.
“As well as providing more confidence the irons also feature Tungsten sole weights which are positioned low and deep for high launch, forgiveness and more playability. Plus have strong lofts and thinner faces to increase ball speed for more distance performance.
“The irons have a midsize profile to inspire more confidence and have a carbon embossed insert placed in the rear of the cavity to enhance the feel and sound of this iron, to play solid feeling shots.
“These beautiful forged irons from Honma are hand shaped by master craftsmen in Sakata, Japan. To provide distance in an iron design which inspires confidence to be able to work the ball at the address position.”
Honma TW747P Irons Design
The key design feature in the TW747 irons is the clubface, which is incredibly thin and helps to generate more power through their swing.
The club heads have been designed midsize, and the carbon embossed insert positioned in the cavity helps provide a truer sound and feel through the swing than in any previous Honma range of irons.
The 20g tungsten weight of the TW747P irons covers the entire length of the sole to help launch trajectory and provide forgiveness from off-centre strikes.
A graphite dampener absorbs the connection power and softens the feel and sound upon transition from club to ball.
An S20C forged steel shaft and black mirror finish provide a more lightweight feel and sleek, modern look to the Honma irons.
