What Honma says about the TW757 drivers:

“The introduction of Carbon-Slot technology marks another cutting-edge development in club design from our R&D team. High-elasticity carbon delivers unprecedented initial ball speed and long carry.

“Covering the thin sole slot with carbon strengthens the T// World 757 Driver’s face, while saving weight and increasing repulsion at impact. This yields the highest initial ball speed in HONMA’s history.

Honma TW757 D Driver

“The thickness of the sole slit is thinned to maximize the repulsion performance, and it is reinforced with carbon to maintain the strength. As a result, it succeeds in maximizing repulsion performance.

“The drivers features the most effective vertical slot clubface for mishits from the upper and lower clubface. It maintains high initial ball speed, even on mishits, because it increases the repulsion power on a wider area of the clubface.”

Honma TW757 D Driver Design & Features

The TW757 D driver, the bigger of the two models with a 460cc club head, gets it’s name because it is all about Directional Control to help you find more fairways.

Honma have introduced a thin carbon slot for the first time to save weight while adding strength behind the face to unleash the fastest ball speeds ever seen in a driver from the manufacturer.

Honma TW757 D Driver

The slot works along side the improved vertical slot clubface, which helps produce a high initial ball speed from across the entire club face and even on mishits from outside of the sweetspot.

The cross carbon crown helps reduce weight and lower CG, as does the keel design shape with weight low and back in the driver head.

The crown ribs, meanwhile add rigidity around the club face and help maintain ball speeds along with the rebounding energy of the carbon crown.

The D model features two interchangeable weights with the standard setting being 3g in the toe and 9g at the back for a straight ball flight and high launch. For more spin control, switch the weights.

The TW757 D is available in 9 degrees and 10.5 degrees loft options with an adjustable hosel providing loft, lie and angle adjustability.

Honma TW757 S Driver Design & Features

The TW757 S driver is the small of the two models with a 450cc club head and has been designed for Spin and Stability Control.

Like he D model, the key elements are the new carbon slot on the sole to add ball speed by improving the strength behind the clubface.

Honma TW757 S Driver

The new Vertical Slot Clubface is also integral to this driver too to ensure that the Honma TW757s deliver the fastest ball speeds even on mishits.

The S driver also featured the lightweight carbon composite crown and keel design to send the CG low and back for an optimal ball flight from the tee.

The crown ribs are also part of this design to work in harmony with the rebounding crown and deliver the explosive ball speeds promised.

The S model features two interchangeable weights with the standard setting being 3g at the front and 9g at the back for a straight ball flight and high launch. For more spin control, swap the weights.

The TW757 S is available in 9 degrees and 10.5 degrees loft options.

Verdict: Are Honma TW757 Drivers any good?

Honma have entered new ground in the search for improved performance and the new carbon slot design has certainly helped achieve it.

The TW757 drivers deliver the fastest speeds yet from any Honma driver and add distance and importantly carry to your game. The only sticking point is the price, which puts it in the elite bracket.

The bigger head of the D model makes it the slightly more forgiving of the two drivers, while the S is for players looking for more workability from their big stick.
