Lauren Coughlin secured her first win of 2026 when winning the Aramco Championship in April. A look at Lauren Coughlin: What’s In The Bag.
In the inaugural 2026 Aramco Championship at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas, Coughlin led from start to finish in a dominant five-shot success.
The American finished on seven-under par, five clear of Leona Maguire and Nelly Korda in the LPGA and Ladies European Tour co-sanctioned event.
The American had not managed to make a breakthrough since making her LPGA debut in 2018, but she ended the wait when winning the CPKC Women’s Open in July 2024.
She made it two wins in less than a month when romping to a four shot victory over Esther Henseleit at Dundonald Links in the Women’s Scottish Open.
Her other victory came in the 2025 Grant Thornton Invitational when teaming up with Andrew Novak to take the title in the year-ending pairs event in December.
Coughlin teamed up with Novak in the annual year-ending Grant Thornton Invitational with the American pairing becoming the third winners of the event.
Coughlin graduated from the University of Virginia in 2016, ending her time there as an All-American and as the 2016 ACC individual champion.
She started her professional career on the Symetra Tour (now the Epson Tour) and won the 2018 PHC Classic. In the same year, she came through Q-School to earn her spot on the LPGA Tour.
