Three birdies in the last five holes at Hillside saw Ramsey finish on 14-under par, claiming to Cazoo Classic title by a shot from Paul Waring.

Scot Ramsey shot final round of three-under par and four successive rounds in the 60s on his way to a first title in seven years.

It was Ramsey’s fourth DP World Tour win following previous victories in the 2009 South African Open Championship, 2012 Omega European Masters and 2015 Trophée Hassan II.

Prior to getting his European Tour card, Ramsey landed his first two professional titles on the Challenge Tour in the Vodafone Challenge and AGF-Allianz Golf Open Grand Toulouse in 2008.

The win moved Ramsey up from 329th to 175th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
