Wilson Staff Model Irons Specs & Design

The iconic Staff Model is back with a thoughtful design paying homage to Wilson’s rich heritage while pushing the boundaries of modern technology,

The blade hosel, drawing inspiration from the classic Wilson Dyna-Powered irons, showcases a refined adaptation where excess weight is eliminated.

Wilson have crafted the irons from Forged 8620 Carbon Steel, a material celebrated for its softness and feedback capabilities – and that’s exactly what they deliver, enabling players to experience immediate response and workability that is unparalleled.

Further enhancing the playability of these irons is the innovative toe weighting system. This system keeps the club face open until the moment of impact, allowing it to square perfectly with the ball.

This feature is instrumental in reducing hooks and promoting more forgiving shots, making the Wilson Staff Model reliable and consistent on the course.

The meticulous precision-milled grooves carved into the face are engineered to optimize spin. The face pattern extends the ball-to-face contact time, offering more consistent spin and increased stopping power as a result.

The irons are available in 3-iron to pitching wedge.

Wilson Staff Model Irons 2024 Review: Are the new blades any good?

Wilson have managed to improve an already classic performer with the launch of the 2024 edition of the Staff Model irons.

The toe weighting has allowed for more balance, better ball striking from all lies and significantly eradicated a low, left hook from equation to allow you to stand over the ball with more confidence.

One thing that needs pointing out is that these blades are for low-handicap and elite golfers. They are crafted for workability and distance, not forgiveness.

Don’t consider these if that isn’t you because they don’t have the forgiveness. Look at the CB irons if you do have inconsistencies in your ball striking.
