The Dubai Desert Classic golf is the first event of the 2025 DP World Tour calendar and attracts as high-class field as part of the Rolex Series events.
It is staged on the Majlis Course at Emirates Golf Club in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Dubai Desert Classic was first held in 1989 and has been hosted at the Emirates Golf Club with the exception of 1999 and 2000 when it moved to Dubai Creek.
Rory McIlroy is the defending champion after victory in the Dubai Desert Classic in 2023 and 2024. He now has four titles having also won in 2009 and 2015.
