The European Masters is part of the Back 9 element of the 2025 DP World Tour season, and is one of the most notable because of the location high up in the Swiss Alps.
The tournament is held at Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, which is around 1,500 metres above sea level.
The Swiss Open, as it was previously known, was first held in 1923 before the European Masters tournament as we know it became part of the DP World Tour in 1972.
Matt Wallace is the reigning champion after winning the tournament in 2024.

The European Masters golf will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at the par 70 Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club in Crans-Montana, Switzerland. There is a cut after the opening two rounds.
