The Scottish Open was first held in 1972 when it first joined the European Tour and moved to The Renaissance Club in 2019.

The Scottish Open golf will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at the Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland. There is a cut at the 36-hole stage.
