The 2025 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship returns from October 2-5, welcoming an elite field to the links courses of St Andrews, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns.

The event celebrates its status as one of the premier events on the DP World Tour calendar, drawing top professionals and celebrity amateurs alike for four days of competitive action and fan festival atmosphere.

The tournament is played of three of Scotland’s most iconic links venues, which provide a unique challenge for the Pro-Am pairings.

This year, the event’s $5 million prize fund and the presence of several Ryder Cup and LIV Golf stars add extra intrigue with rounds played at each course before the final day back on the Old Course at St Andrews.

The traditional Pro-Am team format brings together icons from sports and entertainment including tennis legend Sir Andy Murray and ice hockey great Wayne Gretzky.

Tommy Fleetwood

Tommy Fleetwood arrives in superb form following his Ryder Cup heroics and a string of top finishes on the DP World Tour and PGA Tour this season including FedEx Cup success.

Fleetwood’s patience and ball-striking shine on links courses. He’s twice a runner-up in this event and eyes a breakthrough victory.

Tyrrell Hatton

With three Alfred Dunhill titles, Tyrrell Hatton returns as defending champion and looking to set a new record with a fourth win.

Undulating St Andrews greens and wind-swept fairways suit his creative shot-making and steely temperament.

Matt Fitzpatrick

After regaining his best form in recent months, Matt Fitzpatrick brings major-winning pedigree and proven links experience.

If his putter heats up, expect him to contend over all four days at an event he has tasted success at.

Robert MacIntyre

The passionate Scot pushes for his first win in 2025, energized by home support and past top finishes.

Robert MacIntyre‘s left-handed ball flight and local knowledge play well around St Andrews, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns.

Aldrich Potgieter

Regarded as an explosive young talent, Aldrich Potgieter’s length off the tee and sharp short game could surprise in benign conditions.

The big-hitting South African could be a long-shot to make a big impact.
