The 2025 DP World Tour Championship is taking place from November 13-16 at the Earth Course at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai with the season title up for grabs.
The tournament is the season finale for the DP World Tour and features a $10 million purse, with $3 million awarded to the winner.
After last week’s Abu Dhabi Championship, 52 players remain in the playoffs. They will compete with no cut in which is the final event of the Race to Dubai and the season’s title decider.
The tournament takes place at the Earth Course at Jumeirah Golf Estates, a par-72 layout measuring 7,706 yards, provides a fitting end to the season.
The signature 18th hole is a 651-yard par-five with a stream bisecting the fairway and it often plays a dramatic conclusion to the season-ending event.

DP World Tour Championship Contenders
Rory McIlroy
Rory McIlroy enters the tournament as the leading favorite, having had an outstanding 2025 season in which he won his first Masters title to complete a career Grand Slam with five major titles in total.
The world number two also won The Players Championship and has multiple DP World Tour wins this year including the Irish Open.
McIlroy is a six-time Race to Dubai champion and has an enviable record in the season ending event in Dubai.
Tommy Fleetwood
Tommy Fleetwood has been consistently competitive in 2025, recording his breakthrough PGA Tour win in the Tour Championship and winning on the DP World Tour in the India Championship.
Fresh off a play-off defeat in Abu Dhabi last week, Fleetwood is in good form and is a key contender in the DP World Tour Championship. His experience and form make him one of the top challengers to McIlroy.
Ludvig Aberg
Ludvig Aberg has yet to win in 2025 but his strong ball striking and steady play make him a serious threat in the DP World Tour Championship this weekend.
Aberg could capitalize on the key scoring opportunities offered by the Earth Course’s layout, especially with its broad fairways and challenging greens.
Tyrrell Hatton
Despite a mixed bag in Abu Dhabi last week, Tyrrell Hatton remains one of the reliable players on the tour with his steady and tactical approach.
Hatton’s strength lies in his course management and ability to handle pressure, which suits the tactical nature of the Earth Course.
His consistent performance throughout the season positions him well to challenge for the title.
Robert MacIntyre
Robert MacIntyre has had a strong 2025 season and found his best form again over the weekend rounds in Abu Dhabi.
Known for his aggressive play and solid putting, MacIntyre has gained momentum heading into the final event. His ability to take risks and execute under pressure make him a viable contender for the championship.
