Hodges had not been in the winners’ circle on the PGA Tour, but he recorded a wide-margin seven-shot victory over Martin Laird at TPC Twin Cities.
The Alabama native ended the 3M Open on 24-under for the biggest victory margin on the PGA Tour in more than three years.
Hodges’ win saw him move from 110th to 54th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
